Do you have to let it linger.

I can imagine being happy if I had velvet pants and chunky ankle boots. Of course I wouldn't be.
There is always something wrong.
Every day I wish we didn't have to grow up. The little kids that I know long for an adult life. I don't want to be an adult. Where birthdays stop mattering, where you don't get to eat ice-cream cakes. Where sack races are replaced by martinis and jumping castles are exchanged for cab fares. I wasted my youth looking for myself, hoping that the discovery would make me into something. Instead, I don't like the me I found.
I want the child back.
I'm not sure I know anything at all. After everything we go through for enlightenment. I don't know anything at all.

Love is in the air!

I could not have a bigger couple crush than the one that I have for on-screen and off-screen couple Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer.

They are in Trueblood together and they have some steamy television sex scenes that seemed pretty realistic to me... Only now do I realise that they are dating in real life.

They are too cute for words. And he is an absolute dish and a half.

P.S. I just found out they are now ENGAGED. So adorable.

Just a pitchfork CD mix

The 'Garden State' CD gives me shivers.
These are my favourite tracks, I feel like they can get me through anything.

Track 4: New Slang - The Shins
Track 5: I Just Don't Think I'll Ever Get Over You - Colin Hay
Track 6: Blue Eyes - Cary Brothers
Track 12: Let Go - Frou Frou

Arden the genius.

"So should we give up a little (or all) of our privacy for increased or complete security? Should we allow our governments complete access to our lives, so that they can protect us from harm? Now we come back to our original question "Do the ends justify the means?", and yet are still no closer to a unequivocal answer. Let me leave you with a unsettling concept, if we were to allow our governments this unbridled control in exchange for absolute protection, how can we be sure those who in control have our best interests at heart? who is there to make sure they do not misuse their power? or more poetically "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" which translated from latin is "Who watches the watchmen?"

This was written by a brilliant and particularly learned friend of mine, Arden.
Check out his blog. Then you can feel special in ten years when he's the President of America and you were one of his original fans.

Silver screen thriller.

Nobody does petty revenge like scorned women on the internet.

Ladies - it might be wise to confront me. Although there is nothing classier than working the backstreets for your information I suggest coming to the source for the real stuff.
Cute, but really missing the boat.

In other news!
The tattoo is peeling and scaring me beyond belief. It feels as if one night i'll fall asleep and it will have all peeled off.
Other than that, I couldn't be happier with it. I can't wipe the smile off my face!
